Rambles through Nature

John's Nature Blog

About this Blog
My interest in nature was re-awakened a few years ago, when I took up walking in the British countryside and along our coasts. These walks encouraged me to learn more about what I was seeing, and, although still not a nature expert, the more I know, the more I am fascinated by it. Since retirement, I have also become increasingly involved in conservation and bio-diversity work and have had many enjoyable moments with nature. Some of the experiences and observations recorded in this “blog” have come from my walks, others from my project work, yet others in local parks and nature reserves with our grandson and finally, of course, in my own garden; hence the title “Rambles through Nature”. I hope that you find something amongst my “rambles” that you enjoy.
